These are the Nike Foamdome Boots, known and renamed in the DMV area as the Foamposite Nike Boots. These shoes are nice, as you can see the upper part of the shoes are are designed identical to the regular foams (pictured below). However the style of the sole of the shoe is slightly a different look. But they are still tough.
In the Dime Magazine hip-hop artist Wale was seen in an LRG ad rockin a pair of the Eggplant Nike Foamposite sneakers. Thanks to a NikeTalk member we have a closer look at a sample pair of the Eggplants. The upper on the Air Foamposite is shown in black and varsity purple which has been given the name of “Eggplant” from the sneaker community. Included of course is the popular translucent sole. The release day for these was Feburary 5, 2009 and they will be a limited release which retails for $200.
